Hizb hideout busted in Tral: Police | KNO

Awantipora, Mar 03 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir police on Wednesday claimed to have busted a militant hideout in Tral area of South Kashmir's Awantipora police district. Police spokesman in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that upon information of militant hideout in the forest area of Seer/ Pastoona, Police along with 42 RR and 180 Bn CRPF launched a search operation in the area. “During search, one hideout of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen was busted and subsequently destroyed,” police said, adding that the size of the hideout is approximately 5 ft × 7ft ×4 ft. “Incriminating material of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen and other material like utensils, food items etc has been recovered from the hideout,” spokesman said, adding that all the material has been taken into Police custody for investigation purpose. Police said that a case under FIR number 14/2021 under relevant sections of law stands registered at Police Station Tral—(KNO)
